Nintendo announced in a press release that starting November 23rd, the top-selling Nintendo DS would temporarily be available in two new colors just in time for the holiday season. The limited edition Gold DS will be bundled with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, while the Metallic Rose handheld will be packaged with the Nintendogs “Best Friend” edition. If you have any family or friends who are missing out and don’t own one of these fun little handhelds, now would be the perfect time to get into the holiday spirit and give them your old DS so that you have an excuse to score one of the shiny, colorful new ones!

DS only got released in Korea in January this year, but the region known for its notorious levels of software piracy has already put it under Nintendo’s legal spotlight as the Japanese company demands an investigation into DS piracy.
